CompuGroup Medical Doubles its Market Share in the Sector of Doctors Information Systems in France

CompuGroup Medical AGCompuGroup Medical AG, one of the leading global providers of eHealth solutions, has entered into an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of Imagine Editions and Imagine Assistance, both based in Soulac Sur Mer (France). Through this acquisition the amount of doctors operating with CGM software products doubles to 40.000. CompuGroup Medical thus becomes number one in the market for Doctors Information Systems in France and continues on the path of profitable growth and expansion of its market share.

Imagine Editions and Imagine Assistance offer with "HelloDoc" one of the best recognized software solutions for general practitioners, pediatricians and dentists for more than 25 years. The software is currently used by app. 20,000 professionals. In addition to the HelloDoc software the companies are providing data and Telesecretary services to healthcare professionals. In total, the companies have 110 employees and realized a turnover of 7.2 million euros in 2013.

Frank Gotthardt, CEO and Founder of CompuGroup Medical AG, declared this as a most significant milestone in the evolvement of the French market: "The new companies are the perfect addition to our existent subsidiaries in France. Already 20,000 doctors in France rely on our comprehensive software solution AxiSanté. With our network solution Le Réseau Santé Social we are, moreover, a reliable and leading partner for connectivity in the healthcare market in France. We will implement our multi-brand strategy now also in France, as we already successfully did in Germany and Italy. HelloDoc will remain a separate product-line, which will be integrated into our global add-on product and service portfolio for the benefit of our customers."

"HelloDoc" will be managed as a separate business unit and will act in open competition with existing sales and service structures.
