CGM SYSTEMA Acquires LMZSOFT AG and Strengthens its Market Position

CompuGroup Medical AGSYSTEMA Deutschland GmbH, a 100 percent subsidiary of the global leading eHealth company CompuGroup Medical AG (CGM), concluded a contract for the 100% acquisition of LMZSOFT AG in Saalfeld, thus expanding its market leadership as a software provider for rehabilitation and specialty clinics.

"LMZSOFT is a company which suits us quite well because of its far-reaching industry expertise and innovative strength. The software is an excellently developed product with a solid customer base. The current and future LMZ customers will benefit from a pooling of the respective strengths, our comprehensive range of services and the standardization of service quality," said Christoph Becker, CGM SYSTEMA Managing Director. Mr. Simon believes reliable and competent service is the key success factor in a trusting and long-term customer relationship.

Dirk T. Zunkel, the former CEO of LMZSOFT AG is convinced that: "LMZSOFT's acquisition to CompuGroup Medical AG is a step in the right direction for a sustainable future, which provides both customers and employees with excellent prospects."

LMZSOFT's 30 employees will become a part of the CGM REHA business unit at the location in Saalfeld. The established product line, KIMSYSTEM from LMZSOFT AG will be continued. After the acquisition is complete, both founders and Management Board members, Dirk T. Zunkel and Thomas Schulze, will leave the company of their own accord. Christoph Becker, Managing Director of CGM SYSTEMA, and Adelheid Hegemann, Division Manager of CGM REHA, will be appointed to the Management Board.
