Draft Horizon 2020 Work Programme 2014 - 2015 in the Area of Health, Demographic Change and Wellbeing

This paper is made public just before the adoption process of the work programme to provide potential participants with the currently expected main lines of the work programme 2014-2015. It is a working document not yet endorsed by the Commission and its content does not in any way prejudge the final decision of the Commission. The adoption and the publication of the work programme by the Commission are expected in mid - December 2013. Only the adopted work programme will have legal value, subject to, among others:
  • The adoption of the Council Decision establishing the Specific Programme implementing Horizon 2020– The Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (2014-2020) by the legislative authority without significant modifications,
  • A positive opinion by the committee established in the Council Decision establishing the Specific Programme implementing Horizon 2020, and
  • The availability of the appropriations provided for in the draft budget for 2014 after the adoption of the budget for 2014 by the budgetary authority or, if the budget is not adopted, as provided for in the system of provisional twelfths.

Information and topic descriptions indicated in this working document may not appear in the final work programme; and likewise, new elements may be introduced at a later stage.
