VIGOR++ Workshop 2014 - Showcase of Research Outcomes and Future Outlook

This workshop is the third in the series and will showcase the outcomes, including a system demonstration, of the VIGOR++ project and explore future work in the integration of clinical data and MRI image analysis, classification and visualisation within the concept of the Virtual Physiological Human.

The VIGOR++ Workshops serve as a forum for a diverse and rich mix of innovators - both technologists and clinicians. Attendees have a wide range of backgrounds representing parts of the supply chain including: researchers in universities and hospitals; diagnostics and device companies; public health authorities; private healthcare providers; market analysts and patient groups. The VIGOR++ Workshops are a place to exchange knowledge, share experiences, debate current issues, and meet colleagues and friends active in the field.

VIGOR++ is an international research project that aims to create a personalised gastrointestinal tract model, which facilitates accurate detection and grading of Crohn's disease, so that the management of the disease becomes personalized, patient friendly, and effective. VIGOR++ is supported by the 7th Framework Programme of the European Commission in the context of research towards the Virtual Physiological Human.
