System C awarded Buying Solutions Framework Agreement for Telehealth

System C HealthcareThe two-year telehealth framework agreement has been awarded by Buying Solutions, the national procurement partner for UK public services and part of the Efficiency and Reform Group within the Cabinet Office.

Dr Ian Denley, chief executive of System C, said the company had beaten off stiff competition for a place on Lot 6 of the framework agreement, which relates to managed services for telecare, telehealth and telecoaching solutions. Only 20 suppliers nationally won a place on this Lot.

"This framework agreement is an important recognition of our capability and experience of providing consultancy services within the fast-growing area of telehealth," Dr Denley said.

"Our consultants have an average 17 years' experience within the health sector. They have a deep understanding of client and patient needs and are ideally placed to help develop technical solutions that are both cost-effective and supportive," he added.

Services offered by System C range from advice, selection, and project design through to implementation, testing, user training and service management. All are backed by high quality project management.

Specific services offered in support of telehealth projects include:

Buying Solutions completed a rigorous OJEU procurement process before awarding the framework agreements. Its aim is to offer public service customers an efficient and value for money route to procurement within an EU compliant service.
