CompuGroup Medical Expands into Scandinavian eHealth Market

CompuGroup MedicalCompuGroup Medical executed a purchase agreement for the acquisition of Lorensbergs Holding, including all subsidiaries. With 41 employees, Lorensbergs primarily develops software solutions for occupational healthcare, general practitioners and healthcare schools in Sweden. The revenues for 2010 are estimated to be EUR 3,7 million.

With this acquisition, CompuGroup Medical solidifies its position as a market leader in the Scandinavian eHealth market. With Lorensbergs, CompuGroup Medical obtains the largest customer base within occupational healthcare and further strengthens the performing product portfolio in Sweden and Norway.

The products of all Scandinavian subsidiaries will be further bolstered, based on best practices. CompuGroup Medical software solutions provide physicians with assistance in making medical decisions and help structure the treatment process. Enormous potentials to increase efficiency can be achieved with the utilization of these intelligent systems.
