CSW has extended Case Notes' existing capabilities and functions to provide both a solutiontoolkit and modular approach to the new challenges faced by Health and Social Care professionals today. Case Notes v5.0 is fully Spine compliant enabling Health and Social Careorganisations to share local patient information by linking to the NHS Care Record Service(NCRS) in the UK. Designed for interoperability and embracing national standards such as XML and HL7, Case Notes v5.0 enables patients' electronic information to move with them, as theymove into and out of care settings and across organisational and geographical boundaries.

The modular nature of Case Notes v5.0 means that components can be substituted or addedwith minimal impact and without major re-delivery of the system.
