The "European Information Society Technologies Prize" has changed its name "the European Information and Communication Technologies Prize", or "the European ICT Prize.

It is the most distinguished award for innovative products and services that represent the best of European innovation in ICT.

50-70 Nominees for European ICT Prize
Promotion of their products/services and companies. Quality label and logo "European ICT Prize Nominee".

20 Nominees for the European ICT Grand Prize
Promotion of their products/services and companies. Quality label and logo "European IST Grand Prize Nominee". Opportunity to promote their products at CeBIT 2007.

20 European ICT Prize Winners, €5,000
A prize of €5,000 each. The European ICT Prize Winner certificate. Extensive publicity of their products/services and companies. Quality label and logo "European ICT Prize Winner". Participation in the European ICT Prize Awards Ceremony.

3 Grand Prize Winners, €200,000
A prize of €200,000 each. The European ICT Grand Prize trophy. Extensive publicity of their products/services and companies. Quality label and logo "European IST Grand Prize Winner". Participation in the European ICT Prize Awards Ceremony.

The European Commission will select up to 20 EICT Prize Winners and up to 3 Grand Prize Winners, based on technical evaluations and rankings by leading experts in the field of ICT research and business.
