Digital Health to Disrupt Health IT Market with Launch of 'Rewired'

Digital Health25 - 26 March 2019, London, United Kingdom.
Digital Health - publishers of digitalhealth.net and organisers of the CCIO, CNIO, CIO Networks and annual Summer Schools - is to shake up the moribund health IT events market with the launch of Digital Health Rewired, an exciting new Summit and Expo focused on the transformational use of disruptive information technologies in health and care.

Digital Health Rewired is the new two-day conference and one-day exhibition taking place on 25-26 March 2019 at London Olympia, that will connect health IT leaders and professionals with the latest disruptive digital health innovations.

Developed for everyone working across NHS IT and the wider digital health sector, the new annual event will provide attendees with insights and ideas they can take back and implement in their organisation, while growing their professional network.

Jon Hoeksma, CEO of Digital Health said: "UK healthcare is bursting with digital innovation, big and small, the key challenge remains to share knowledge across the sector and scale-up and spread best practice.

"By building on our in-depth industry knowledge - spanning news, intelligence and online networks and events - we will ensure that Rewired provides the most compelling and enjoyable event possible for everyone who takes part."

Rewired brings together Digital Health's current events, incorporating the Digital Health Leadership Summit, Cloud Summit and Cyber Security Summit, and will be developed as the sister event to the hugely popular annual Digital Health Summer Schools.

Day one of Rewired, 25 March, will begin with the fourth edition of the Digital Health Leadership Summit, which brings together health CCIOs, CIOs, CNIOs and C-suite colleagues to address the leadership challenges of digital transformation. An evening of networking will follow.

Day two of Rewired, 26 March, will be devoted to the brand new Digital Health Rewired Expo, an integrated conference and exhibition, that will showcase some of the very best local and national work of digital trailblazers in health and care.

The over-arching theme of Rewired Expo will be joining up and integrating health and care through the transformational use of technology, with a dedicated conference programme plus hands-on practical demos and showcases.

System C & Graphnet Care Alliance have already committed as the headline sponsor for the event. Beverley Bryant, COO at System C & Graphnet Care Alliance, said: "We're very excited to be involved right from the start in what will become the must-attend event of our industry.

"Rewired is a refreshing new formula - structured around the CCIO, CIO, and CNIO Networks, but with the addition if Digital Health’s own knowledge and insight as the leading news source on health IT, and its experience in building very successful best practice leadership and networking events."

Dedicated zones will also enable delegates to explore latest developments in key disruptive technology trends: AI and Analytics, Cloud and Mobile, Clinical Software and Cyber Security. Each zone will have a compelling programme delivered in its own show-floor theatre, informed by Digital Health's News and Intelligence coverage.

The Rewired programme will be shaped by the same Digital Health Programme Board behind the Summer Schools and Leadership Summit. Programme Board member Shauna McMahon, CIO at Frimley Health NHS FT said: “The NHS is awash with similar health IT conferences and an unfortunate outcome is that the programmes and presentations become a bit familiar.

"We want delegates to get that light bulb moment where they think 'I can see this working in my organisation' so they return to the office with a plan to adopt technology that can make a positive impact."
