ICW Forms Solution for EMR is certified as "SAP Certified - Mobile App"

InterComponentWareInterComponentWare AG (ICW) has announced that its ICW Forms Solution for EMR 1.0 has achieved SAP certification as Mobile App. The SAP Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC) has certified that ICW Forms Solution for EMR 1.0 integrates with SAP® EMR Unwired through SAP NetWeaver® Gateway.

The solution created by ICW uses the extensibility concept of the mobile app SAP EMR Unwired to integrate additional forms for data entry dynamically and without development effort into the app. The integration of the forms technology in SAP EMR Unwired enables users to create custom specific forms that can directly be used in the mobile app SAP EMR Unwired.

ICW has also launched its storefront on the SAP® Store, where it will market and sell its ICW Forms Solution for EMR 1.0 containing ICW FormDesigner and sample forms. SAP Store is the online e-commerce channel or "e-channel" for enterprise solutions and services from SAP and its partners. SAP Store is the place for customers to gain instant access to the insight they need to make informed buying decisions. They have the ability to discover, try, purchase, and deploy a wide range of solutions from SAP and the SAP partner ecosystem.

In the context of the SAP PartnerEdge® program for Application Development, ICW developed as a member of the SAP Mobile Apps Partner program its application leveraging tools and resources from SAP, including the SAP Mobile Platform. This is the first SAP-certified solution for ICW. Peter Kirschbauer, CEO at ICW: "We are happy, that by offering a SAP-certified product we solidify our good and long-lived relationship with SAP. For us, the SAP Store represents a very interesting sales channel for our B2B solutions."

Using the ICW FormDesigner electronic forms can be intuitively created, assembled from templates, or efficiently digitized from existing paper forms. The end user is offered a clear form structure using the interaction pattern of the mobile device, and an attractive design smoothly integrating into the style of the app, e.g. SAP EMR Unwired. Resulting forms are rendered in HTML5 and have a simple REST based technical interface. Integration into mobile apps and corresponding backend systems thus is straightforward.

The SAP PartnerEdge program for Application Development is a simple and comprehensive program designed to empower partners to build, market and sell software applications on top of market-leading technology platforms from SAP. It provides the enablement tools, benefits and support to facilitate building high-quality, disruptive applications focused on specific business needs - quickly and cost-effectively. The program provides access to all relevant SAP technologies in one simplified framework under a single, global contract. Once developed, participants can market and sell their applications on SAP Store.
