Orion HealthOrion Health announced the enhanced release of Orion Health™ Electronic Health Record (Orion Health EHR), offering advanced flexibility and new options for healthcare organisations. The solution enables a connected system of health to achieve smarter patient outcomes across providers and regions.

Orion Health EHR offers secure, interoperable, standards compliant data integration between existing hospital IT systems, to create a unified view of patient information that can be shared among providers within and across a healthcare system - regardless of where the care was provided.

  • A complete patient view that improves patient safety, increases clinician productivity and reduces duplicate tests and other orders.

  • Patient involvement via the new Patient Portal
  • Advanced integration options without the need to rip and replace existing systems

With Orion Health EHR, customers can add additional clinical and patient-centered functions to assist in delivering care across traditional care boundaries and scale EHR projects over time. Additional options that can be added to Orion Health EHR include:

  • Case Management - for caring for patients with long-term conditions, reducing or preventing complications and integrating with remote monitoring where appropriate
  • Patient Portal - allows a patient to access their medical record, request appointments, view educational materials and communicate with their care team
  • Orders - for electronic ordering of Diagnostic services, (laboratory and radiology as well as allied health services such as physiotherapy)
  • Problem List - a centralized patient Problem List designed to give clinicians a comprehensive understanding of a patient’s health status by capturing information from multiple sources
