Carestream's portfolio of tabletop CR systems includes the DIRECTVIEW Vita CR family, which enables healthcare providers to implement efficient, cost-effective digital X-ray imaging while improving productivity and enhancing patient care. The highly reliable DIRECTVIEW Vita, Vita LE and Vita SE systems are designed for general radiography imaging along with scoliosis and long-length exams. These systems are deployed in small hospitals, clinics and orthopedic, chiropractic, podiatry and other private practices worldwide.

Each compact computed radiography unit can be easily moved to image immobile patients and delivers reliable performance for a wide variety of portable X-ray applications including use in military facilities.

"Our Vita CR system produces excellent image quality and is extremely reliable and cost effective. When we installed this system, we converted from film to digital imaging. Now we have the advantages of immediate image review and the ability to make image adjustments. It's an excellent asset for our clinic," said Rafael Gomez, X-ray technician, MD Medical Clinics, Anaheim, Calif. The clinic purchased its Vita CR system from Genesis Digital Imaging of Los Angeles, Calif., one of the largest distributors of Carestream's CR systems in the world.

Carestream's fully featured imaging solutions offer excellent price performance with volumes ranging from 25 plates per hour to 60 plates per hour to address a wide variety of needs. These tabletop CR systems can be integrated with the company's new Image Suite Software to provide comprehensive image review, manipulation, management and storage capabilities.
