Networking and the conquering of sector boundaries are pivotal issues in future healthcare and welfare systems. More and more hospitals, rehabilitation clinics and social services combine forces both horizontally and vertically. At the same time, they are also opening up to other service providers. This leads to the demand for trans-sectoral, network-enabled solutions which integrate seamlessly with the new landscape of networked services while being able to anticipate future developments. With its forward-looking, trans-sectoral solution portfolio, CompuGROUP meets these challenges as early as today and demonstrates this at MEDICA. For the first time, all participating CompuGROUP companies have joined forces and present themselves as a unit. This year all booths, which were scattered across the hall in the past, will be combined into a CompuGROUP square.

On a total exhibition space of almost 1,200 square meters, the leading providers of information systems for doctors ALBIS, CompuMED, DATA VITAL, MEDISTAR and TurboMed, who together hold a market share of about 50%, are showcased. They all support the personal healthcare file vita-X, which is maintained by collaborating doctors. At their booths as well as at the vita-X booth, visitors can learn how efficiently the healthcare file is in practice. Moreover, systema Deutschland plus its two subsidiaries fliegel data and All for One show their complete solution portfolio for the healthcare and welfare sector, whereas CompuGROUP's portfolio is supplemented by the products of healthcare software specialists Aescudata, ifap and ISPro.

All booths are connected via identical carpets that offer visual guidance and orientation: "This guiding system underlines how closely the single CompuGROUP companies are connected. Each of these paths leads to an exhibitor from our strong group. Illuminated columns convey this unity to the visitor," Frank Gotthardt, Chairman of the Board of CompuGROUP Holding AG, explains the concept. "Our service portfolio, which is truly unique, offers stakeholders in the healthcare and welfare sector a high return on investment. We do not only offer high-performance solutions, we also network them."
