Call for Papers: The 6th ICMCC Annual Event and The World Congress 2009

The World Congress on Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering - the triennial scientific meeting of the IUPESM - being held in Munich, Germany, on September 7-12, 2009 is the world's leading forum for presenting the results of current scientific work as well as major innovations in health-related technologies to an international audience. More than 4,000 visitors are expected to attend the event.

Held every three years, the congress provides an ideal inter- and multidisciplinary platform that brings together people from basic research, R&D, industry and medical applications, incorporating key aspects such as information and communication technologies, micro- and nano-systems, optics, tissue engineering and biotechnology.

The World Congress 2009 is dedicated to supporting and promoting an intense inter- and multidisciplinary knowledge exchange among professionals in the areas that will be the major driving force for future innovations in medical technologies and medicine.

The Organizing Committee of the World Congress 2009 on Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering and ICMCC (International Council on Medical & Care Compunetics) invite the submission of papers for consideration in the final program.

Contributions will be peer-reviewed and either presented as a poster or an oral paper within the scientific program.

Submitting authors have the option of choosing their presentation preference: oral or poster, but the Program Committee will make the final decision. For those indicating a preference for the poster format, please note that during the poster viewing periods, specific times will be scheduled for author attendance.

  • April 15 - Extended Deadline for paper submission (full paper of 2-4 pages, to be included in the proceedings)
  • May 25 - Paper Acceptance Notification
  • June 2 - Speakers registration due
  • June 2 - Deadline paper update for the proceedings
  • July 1 - Short program available
  • July 15 - Final program available
  • July 15 - Early registration due
