The 4th Edition of the E-health Congress from Bucharest, Romania

Tarus Media and British Medical Journal (Romanian edition) have announced the E-health 2009 Congress, it will take place on 26-27 May, 2009 and will represent one of the most important events for the Romanian healthcare system. The E-health 2009 Congress is designed to bring together the national and international Healthcare ICT key players, healthcare professionals and to foster closer interactions among them.

Mr. Sorin Oprescu, Mayor of Bucharest, confirmed his presence at the debates. He will describe the consequences of the previous GovernmentÂ’s decisions related to the hospital management processes. In addition, valued international speakers will share their experience and best practices in the strategy-oriented presentations from various countries, healthcare systems and projects.

The conference program is focused on the following major topics:

  • Electronic European Health Insurance Card (eEHIC), healthcare cards
  • European and Romanian eHealth markets
  • Integrated EHR systems
  • New eHealth trends and solutions

The attendees including representatives from hospitals, governments, health insurance organizations and service providers will have advanced networking opportunities and will exchange views and experiences among all those involved in European/International eHealth arena.
