The HIMSS Europe CIO Summit Will Bring Together the Leaders from Across Europe in Valencia

HIMSS Europe CIO Summit 20157 - 8 October 2015, Valencia, Spain.
HIMSS Europe, a cause-based, non-profit organisation focused on better health through information technology (IT) brings its main annual summit for European CIOs to Valencia with this year's main theme being "Preparing the ground for success".

The conference is based on a series of specialised sessions and various networking opportunities and attendees will also have access to the conference's two Valencian partner hospitals. The Stage 7 validated Hospital de Denia Marina Salud and the Stage 6 host of the event, Hospital La Fe.

The event aims to prepare the ground for future development within the sector and is directed at leaders and high level directors in the European and global health IT industries. CIOs, managers and directors all receive complimentary registration for the event.

The programme includes a "Future Investments in Healthcare" session dedicated to those involved in large European eHealth investment projects. Where are countries investing? Representatives from countries who are about to embark on significant IT investment projects will give us insight into what they expect from partners, collaborators and suppliers.

Christina Roosen, Vice President of HIMSS Europe said "We are very excited at the prospect of bringing together the continent's industry leaders to share the latest advancements in eHealth. This year's summit will touch on the most important topics of IT application in healthcare and also presents a fantastic opportunity for the European community to visit two of Spain's front running hospitals, Marina Salud and La Fe."

With the tours of some of Spain's most advanced hospitals, the results of the white paper on the return on investment and the opportunity for key sector figures to meet and share experiences, this event will play a central role in defining how the European and global eHealth sector will progress in the coming years.

Complimentary registration available to Chief Information Officers (CIO), Chief Medical Information Officers (CMIO), Chief Executive Officers (CEO) ends on Friday, (11 September 2015).
