Countdown to Digital Health #Rewired24 Begins

Digital Health Rewired 2024 12 - 13 March 2024, Birmingham, UK.
The countdown to Digital Health Rewired 2024 has begun with the announcement of the first keynote speakers and official opening of delegate registration and call for speakers.

Matthew Taylor, CEO of the NHS Confederation, and Greta Westwood, CEO of the Florence Nightingale Foundation, are the first two keynote speakers announced, reflecting the critical importance of digital and data to all NHS managers and nurses and clinicians.

Rewired 2024 will run 12-13 March at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, after having outgrown space available at the Business Design Centre London.

Delivered as an Expo-style event, combining great conference stages, an exciting exhibition and lively networking and social programme, Rewired is for everyone working with or interested in how to better use digital and data to improve health and care services.

"With 2024 set to be an election year, the NHS promises to again be centre of the national political stage. The over-arching theme of Rewired will be exploring essential contributions of digital and data in addressing the immediate and structural challenges facing UK healthcare," said Jon Hoeksma, CEO Digital Health.

"We hope to once again bring together the diverse range of individuals and teams now working across the digital health landscape to learn from one another, share ideas, knowledge and experiences of how to harness digital health for the health and well-being of us all."

The conference programme for Rewired24, curated by the Digital Health team working with our expert programme group and through the very popular open call for sessions, will provide a rich variety of keynotes, education and best practice sessions, spanning the diverse and fast-evolving sector.

The #Rewired24 stages will include:

  • Digital Transformation
  • Integrated Care
  • Leadership and teams
  • AI, Data and Analytics
  • Digital Nursing
  • Smart Health (day 1)
  • Cyber Security (day 2)
  • Innovation (day 1)
  • Patient Engagement (day 2)

#Rewired24 will also include the return of the hugely popular Pitchfest start-up competition showcasing the very best digital health start-ups from the UK and internationally, with the live final at Rewired.

Almost 4,000 delegates attended the blockbuster show in 2023, with attendance climbing 50% over 2022. The show attracted especially big increases in audience among nurses, midwives and AHPs, future digital leaders, ICSs, start-ups, AI and data scientists, and future digital leaders, alongside the audience leaders and team of NHS IT professionals and clinical informatics specialists from across the UK and beyond.

Delivered by Digital Health Intelligence, the publisher of Digital Health News and organiser of Digital Health Networks and the annual Summer Schools, bringing together the UK's largest community of health IT leaders, Rewired consistently attracts many more NHS CIOs, CCIOs and CNIOs than any other event in the UK.

Registration for #Rewired24 is again free to NHS, public sector and start-ups and open now. The online open call for sessions is also now open. If you have a project, initiative or innovation in health and care using digital and data that you'd like to present at Rewired, we want to hear from you.
