A Three Day Workshop on Current Principles and Practices of Telemedicine and e-Health

The International Virtual e-Hospital Foundation in collaborations with USAID/Albania and Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center (TATRC/MRMC), Fort Detrick, Maryland, is organizing a three-day intensive workshop on current practices and principles of telemedicine and e-Health that will be held in Tirana, Albania, October 21-23, 2007.

This workshop is part of the scheduled activities of International Virtual e-Hospital (IVEH) Foundation (www.iveh.org/projects), a non-profit organization, that is implementing a two-year project "Improving Health Care in the Balkans Using Telemedicine, Advanced Technologies and Cultural Exchange Program as a Platform", funded by the Bureau of Education and Cultural Exchange Agency of the Department of State of the USA.

Objective
This three-day workshop is an intensive program where the participants will review the most current principles and practices of telemedicine and e-Health and analyze the future of telemedicine and its potential in this region and globally, paying attention in particular to creating projects that will be implemented through international collaboration.
