Tunstall Named HealthInvestor's Telehealthcare Provider of the Year

TunstallTunstall, the world's leading provider of telehealthcare solutions, has been named HealthInvestor's Telehealth/Telecare provider of the year at its 2011 awards ceremony, against stiff competition from five other shortlisted providers.

The award recognises Tunstall's innovative partnerships, and its approach to mainstreaming telehealthcare through the implementation of pioneering projects.

Hosted by newsreader and broadcaster Jon Snow, almost 1,000 people attended the event at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, with just short of 100 companies vying for one of the 21 awards being presented to the most outstanding contributors to UK healthcare.

Tunstall received the award following a rigorous selection process, judged by some of the most highly regarded industry leaders including Bob Ricketts CBE, Director of Provider Policy at the Department of Health and Nick Bosanquet, Professor of Health Policy at Imperial College London.

Jon Lowe, Tunstall's Managing Director, said, "I am proud of the achievement and pleased that some of our clients and partners were able to attend the event to share our success."
