WoHIT 2011 Conference & Exhibition Launches Call for Papers

The 2011 World of Health IT Conference and Exhibition10-13 May 2011, Budapest, Hungary.
The 2011 World of Health IT Conference and Exhibition, will be held in Budapest, Hungary, in conjunction with the annual eHealth High Level Ministerial Conference - eHealth2011 - which is co-organised by the European Commission and the Hungarian Presidency of the EU.

This annual event, hailed as the largest and most complete pan-European healthcare IT conference and exhibition, features panel discussions, debates, high-level presentations and case studies on eHealth's contribution to healthcare delivery.

WoHIT has launched its call for papers on European IT development. Focus will be on proposals that are addressing the educational needs of professionals in various sectors of healthcare, enterprise solutions and practical approaches to healthcare IT issues.

Three different themes in the area of eHealth and health IT have been named:

  • eHealth Works: Here Is the Evidence - concrete examples of the real benefits that eHealth can bring;
  • eHealth Market: Present and Prospects - eHealth applications that have already resulted in the development of new approaches and business models, or are expected to bear fruit in the near future;
  • eHealth Users' Platform - examining the needs, the expectations and the ideas of the European health professionals on eHealth.

WoHIT is accepting submissions until Friday, 10 September 2010.
